privacy
we built Plus1 so your group's context stays yours. inside Plus1, we don't store raw phone numbers — we use salted one-way hashes for identity, so even our own database can't tell you who's in a thread. when the people in a group change, that group's memory doesn't follow anyone across other chats.
to generate replies, messages sent to Plus1 are processed by third-party AI providers (for example Anthropic) under their contractual data-use terms. we don't send them raw phone numbers. we use message content to run and improve Plus1; if that ever changes in a material way, we'll update this page before it does. messages also pass through SMS/MMS carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) on their way to and from your phone — carriers have their own data practices for message delivery.
we do not sell or share your phone number or message content with third parties for their own marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. the subprocessors above (cloud hosting, SMS/MMS carriers, AI inference providers) only receive what they need to operate the service on our behalf, and they're contractually bound not to use your data for anything else.
we keep messages only as long as we need them to run the product, and we design to minimize what could be disclosed even if we're asked. STOP removes you from Plus1 in any chat, any time.
SMS consent & mobile information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information, including phone numbers, names, and text-messaging opt-in consent data.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subprocessors (cloud hosting, SMS/MMS carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon, and AI inference providers) is permitted strictly to support Plus1's own operations. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose.
SMS opt-in for Plus1 is collected verbally during a live 1:1 onboarding call with the operator. Consent records (admin mobile number, display name, date of consent, and onboarding channel) are stored only for the purpose of operating Plus1 and demonstrating compliance with carrier (CTIA / 10DLC) rules. Reply STOP to any Plus1 message to revoke consent instantly and globally across every group chat Plus1 is in with you; reply HELP for information on how to contact the operator. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
